Parenting doesn’t have to feel like guesswork. As both a counselor and a mother of five, I understand firsthand the challenges, joys, and daily pressures that come with raising children. With the right guidance and strategies, you can create a calmer home, a stronger bond, and a path forward that supports both you and your child.
Parent Support
Parenting is both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging, especially when your child is facing emotional, behavioral, or developmental struggles. My role is to walk alongside you with insight, practical strategies, and encouragement so you feel equipped and supported in guiding your child.
How I Support Parents
When your child is struggling, it can feel like you’re constantly reacting, constantly guessing, and constantly running on empty. Parenting through anger, anxiety, defiance, shutdowns, or emotional overwhelm isn’t something you should have to figure out alone.
My role is to help you understand what’s really going on beneath the behavior and to give you practical tools that create more calm, connection, and confidence in your home.
Through parent support sessions, we work together to:
make sense of your child’s emotions and behaviors
understand the “why” behind anger, defiance, meltdowns, or shutdowns
learn how trauma, stress, sensory needs, or anxiety may be impacting your child
reduce daily power struggles and emotional blowups
strengthen your child’s ability to regulate with support
improve communication and connection within the family
help you stay steady and grounded during challenging moments
develop routines, structure, and strategies that actually work for your child
support you in managing your own stress, overwhelm, or “mom burnout.”
create a clearer, calmer home environment where everyone feels more supported
Parent support is not about judgment or telling you what you “should” be doing. It’s about understanding your child more deeply, supporting your nervous system as a caregiver, and helping you feel equipped with tools that truly make a difference in daily life.
Together, we focus on creating a home that feels calmer, more connected, and easier to navigate
